The Mainview Boulevard Family Learning Centre provides early years learning services for the Wyndham City Council in the expanding suburb of Truganina. The facility provides wholistic family learning services including 3No.early years learning rooms accommodating 33 children in each room, consulting suites offering maternal and child health, allied health and family services consulting services and a community training room for educator and community training programs.
The design of the facility is structured around the provision of non-programmed gathering space to promote the establishment of community networks within the centre outside of learning programs. Co-location and connection with the adjacent public primary school south of the centre, promotes a sense of shared community belonging of these learning environments and encourages a programmatic connection that benefits each.
